Cassie! Er, I mean Hannah Murray

Cassie is my absolutely favorite Skins character. What!?! You haven't heard of Skins? Well download it asap. It's a British teen drama - ridiculously dramatic yet poignant. I feel so much older than all these kids, but their angst and naivete is strangely touching/sad. Cassie is the best. Despite her [many] issues, she has a heart of gold and such light spirit. Plus her clothes are fabu, fabu. Anyway, back on subject: the actress who plays her, Hannah Murray, shot a spread for Lula magazine and she looks quite lovely. Enjoy!

Spectacular Spectacle(s)

Lula Magazine

I love these shots from Lula. The bright lips and glasses make such a strong statement, making the model look so powerful and feminine

Androgeny

I thought I'd make a foray into androgony today - my attempt at boyfriend jeans aka old jeans that are too big. The major plus of this look is the fact that its super comfy - no restrictions whatsoever. Plus, I got to wear my new shoes and show of my shiny, shiny toes!

Elisa, Make Room - I'm Moving In!

I Feel My Creative Juices Flowing

I've just discovered the designer DIY section of teenvogue.com. This is a briefcase turned backpack designed by Zac Posen. I'm thinking of reworking the instructions to make it more of a messenger/saddle bag. I'm absolutely loving the red paint and patches! The next time I stumble across an old briefcase, this will be the result...with a few personal interpretations of course because I do not do directions!teenvogue.com

Konnichiwa My Lovelies

Among my many addictions is browsing Dropsnap. The featured individuals have such style and moxey - they aren't afraid to try new things and take fashion risks. I love the fearlessness of Japanese street style. They certainly aren't afraid to stand out and really commit to a look.We could all learn something from this individualism. If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room! Because all black is always chic.

Can you believe these shoes?

Farmboy, punk, hipster?

This dress manages to be somehow classic Japanese and modern at the same time.

I think I could live in that bag - LOVE. The nautical style, mixed with Oliver Twist, is fun too!
